Since then, the association is known for its implication in the textile industry and its principal concerns are technology, research and the industry. More than 450 individuals, mostly from Quebec but also from all through Canada and foreign countries, are members of the association as of today. 40 corporate members are also part of the association from which all fees are directly injected in the funds for education, an important concern since the beginning of the association.
